Ground Floor: On the ground floor is a large double bedroom with feature
fireplace and en suite shower room, toilet and wash handbasin. One set of French doors off this room give
access an enclosed and private sun patio and along with a further set of French doors give access
to the courtyard pergola -- also with no steps to negotiate!
The entrance hall contains a comprehensive information centre and leads down to the spacious open plan kitchen and dining area. Here you will find a fully fitted solid oak kitchen with a professional range cooker, microwave oven, American style fridge freezer with ice-maker and cold water dispenser, three sinks and the all-important dishwasher. A generous selection of quality crockery, glassware and utensils are provided to ensure that everyone dines in style. The large lounge is enhanced by an original water feature and amply furnished with comfortable sofas, easy chairs and coffee tables. This room has a lovely open view of the terraced gardens, and should you require some entertainment you can enjoy the satellite TV (with some English channels), DVD, CD and sound system. First Floor:
The first floor houses two large double bedrooms; one with a double bed and en suite shower room, the other with a Queen size
bed with the en-suite having corner bath with shower over. This room is large enough to be converted into a "family"
bedroom with more beds if required. On the landing is a separate WC and of course the obligatory automatic washing machine
- all the linen, bedding and towels are included in the price! But don't forget to bring your own towels for the swimming
pool and the beach!
Third Floor:
On the third floor there is a totally self-contained apartment which includes a fully equipped kitchen -- with gas cooker
and fridge freezer -- and shower room and dining area. There are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with
a double and single bed. These rooms have original heavy beams, low windows and sunlight windows in the ceiling - perfect
for young adults or a family. Extra "Put-you-up" beds can be supplied for children on request.
Other Floor:
Accessed by a second staircase from the main lounge is the studio: This comprises a light and spacious double bedroom with
en suite shower room, a further large room which can comfortably sleep up to four people in dormitory style. Off this room
is an enclosed outdoor sun balcony with beautiful views over the landscaped garden and pool area.

What's it like at Maison Tournesol? ** A house,
10 people, privacy as needed, plus loads of space to be together. ** Warm evenings on the patio, with starry
skies and noisy frogs (no, not the neighbours). ** Walks around Bagnault, butterflies on every step and fields and fields
of sunflowers. ** Day trips to La Rochelle and Poitiers to see the busier France. ** Pool area and gardens a delight. ** Plants

Hi Steve & Faye, Just to say thankyou.The children really loved spending their holiday at your home. The 2 youngest actually learned to swim albeit with armbands. They have lots of good memories of France. The adults also said it was a lovely place and they loved the lay out of the grounds [pool,pond and the area near the pool with the stone table].
